自然動画*1を見せた場合、V1内で近くにある細胞同士も遠くにある細胞同士も発火パターンの違い具合はそれほど変わらない。方位コラム構造とか言っていると近くにある細胞が担う情報は redundant だと思うかも知れないけど、実はそうでもない、という論文。
自然動画じゃなくてホワイトノイズでも結論は変わらないらしい（discussion）。
